19 weeks and counting

Baby boy had his four month appointment not long ago.  Turns out that he was 13.8 lbs and 25 inches long.  I was sure that he weighed more than that because I can barely carry his car seat with him in it anymore. lol
I'm starting to wonder if the real teething will be beginning.  There's a ton of drool accompanied by chewing on the bottle nipples and pacifier.

20 weeks:
He's trying to sit up by himself.  Breaks my little heart to see him get so frustrated when he can't just sit right up.  He is still rolling from his back to his tummy but not the other way around...he may actually do this if he liked tummy time. But we never get far enough along to see if he can or not.  He is 14.6 lbs and we took him to the clinic not long ago.  He is doing a horrible wheezing sound.  But, the doctor listened and said it wasn't coming from his lungs...so he may have a mucus plug in his nose..ewww.  He's still doing it though.  He has begun eating sweet potatoes, rice cereal, and squash.  He likes all three!  He hates barley cereal though...he can only stand it if it's in his bottle.  But, we are no longer putting it in his bottle.  I just ordered a crib online because he's going to not have to sleep in our bed sometime.  I'm really not looking forward to having to make the transition because of the fussing and because I'm just too paranoid to try it.  Anyway..I've also failed miserably at taking the monthly photos with the cute numbers... I lost my numbers and then found them and lost them again...oh well.

4 Months!!

Our beautiful baby boy is now four months old.  Time is FLYING!!  He surprises me daily now with new things that he can do.  He was vibrating his lips and laughing at the spit that came out on the way home from grandmas today.lol  He also had some barley cereal in his bottle for the first time on 3.10.12.  He loved it and I know this because his little closing eye lids told me so...or does that mean I love it. :-)  So we've been trying a little bit every day.  He's still eating about 5ozs. every 3 hours.  He loves to sit up and stand with support all the time...he's totally over that lying down stuff for little babies.  He has his four month appointment on the 19th so I'm excited to see his progress.  I've discovered that he definitely has some seasonal allergies.  He just rubs and rubs his little nose and eyes and sneezes away.  He's also really spoiled and I must admit...sleeps with us still.  I'm really going to have a hard time leaving him alone in a crib...if I ever get one.  I just feel soo much better when I can check every five seconds that he's okay right next to me on his boppy.  He's outgrowing it super fast so I know the day is quickly approaching but I'm avoiding it like the plague.  I also need to confess that I lie to the pediatrician and tell them that he sleeps in a bassinet so they don't judge me. haha.  I try to avoid the looks that I will get because then the "we really recommend that he doesn't sleep in the bed with you" speech will follow.  Not sure what I'll tell them this go 'round. :-)  Hubby is out looking for a second job which I know will be hard because I won't have him there all the time to help out and he'll come home super tired. REALLY not looking forward to this...but we'll need some extra income to pay off all of these continuing doctor bills.
All in all...life is great for us right now and I'm enjoying our little boy so much and I still take the time to reflect on what it would have been like with two little girls and going through all of these stages.  Hubby would probably have five jobs then.lol

Alrightly...sometimes I feel like such a bad momma.  I haven't updated on Jordan's progress and I know I'll be mad at myself later when I can't go back and read it. So, a quick catch up-
3 months old:
-Taking 3 ozs. every 3 hours.
-Fitting into 3 month clothing and some 6 month clothing
-Not sure how much he weighs but it has to be a ton because I can barely lift the carrier with him in it now
-His hair isn't really growing...he has just enough to cover it.lol
-His eyes are still blue and hair brownish with red tint in the daylight
-He loves sleeping in his swing if at all possible...it was used for the first time he slept through the night...I believe it was 14weeks and 4 days that he chose to bless us with that.  Then...it all went away but we're working through a growth spurt so hopefully that will return
-He's so funny...he loves when you "quack" at him..
-Last week he did his first real belly laugh (soooo sweet)
-Last weekend was the first time I actually left him over night with just my husband  (I was worried but everything went smoothly) I went on a much needed girls trip to St. Augustine.
-He is talking up a storm!!!  well, in his own little language anyway. :-)

Now, he's 15 weeks and I don't know where the time has flown.  I'm glad we're to this point though.  He enjoys new things every day and it gets more and more fun.  He's able to finally tolerate car rides better which helps.  BUT, I need to confess something........
My child does not get any tummy time.  I know it's terrible but he just hates it sooooo much...He's always had tummy troubles so I'm sure this doesn't help.  He will scream bloody murder if I put him on his tummy.  So, I've been holding him up a lot and letting him lay on his tummy on me laying down and things like that.  However, he needs something that will help him build up his little arm muscles so he can lift himself up....haven't figured that one out yet..if you have suggestions, let me know!

From teensy little boy

to a big healthy boy (sorry this is blurry)
So, in short, I've just been loving life and going with the flow.
